Location: Bogota, Colombia
Status: Under Construction (2015)
Size: 192 Guest rooms
6,000 sq. ft. Conference Center
About the project: Off the main thoroughfare from the international airport into downtown Bogota, this Garden Inn hotel will be part of an assembly of buildings that will create the first impression of visitors driving into the capital city. The style and articulation is a derivative of the many other office buildings that surround this site, designed with simplistic volumetric dimensions. Mostly surrounded by office complexes, this will be a hot spot for executives flying into Bogota on short business ventures, and is set to develop into an evolving, contemporary commercial zone. The hotel, designed to be surrounded by public parks and plazas, will also have a rooftop terrace taking advantage of the view to the mountain range that makes Bogota such a unique metropolitan international city. In the upper levels, the hotel will also house a conference facility to accommodate and serve for business meetings or social gatherings.
