Bridgeport Apartments

This slender building was designed for a small narrow lot in the north sector of Coconut Grove. In an effort to offer modest size affordable apartments for young families, the developer commissioned SOW to design a modern facility that could be integrated to an impacted site by mature trees on the north side of the property. Limited by zoning regulations, the massing of the building entirely responds to the maximum building area. The facade articulation was composed by a play of color between the glazed openings, balconies and vertical circulation elements.
